The world of classic cars, with its smooth curves and elegant decorations, is a world that fascinates car enthusiasts with its different charm from modern cars. GLION MUSEUM, which opened in a repurposed red brick warehouse in Osaka Port, displays around 80 vintage cars of various types in four exhibition halls and outdoors, making it a museum where you can feel as if you have wandered into the world of an old movie.

This is the highlight!
・The combination of the over 100-year-old red brick warehouse and classic cars is striking.
- You can see around 80 rare models that have made history in the automobile industry, from imported cars to domestically produced cars.
- There are plenty of restaurants to choose from after viewing the exhibits, including steakhouses

The Red Brick Warehouses are located about a five-minute walk from Osakako Station on the Osaka Metro Chuo Line. Originally used as a port warehouse for Sumitomo Warehouse Co., Ltd., they were transferred to the city of Osaka and opened as GLION MUSEUM in 2015. Vehicles are also on display outside the building, and the combination of the over 100-year-old red brick warehouses and classic cars is reminiscent of London or New York in the good old days.

Inside the building, you'll find a row of rare classic cars that you've only seen in photos and movies. Each of the four exhibition halls has a different theme, and Exhibition Hall 1 displays vehicles from the early days of the automobile. You can see the history of automobiles up until they began to spread, including an 1850 horse-drawn carriage, the Oldsmobile Curved Dash that inherited its shape, and the Model T Ford, an industry revolutionary that made mass production possible through the division of labor.

Exhibit Hall 2 is the American Vintage Zone, where vehicles from the era when the Mafia was active are on display, including the 1939 Ford Deluxe, which appeared in the film "The Godfather II," and the 1941 Cadillac 61, which had a major influence on automobile design in later generations.

Exhibit Hall 3 focuses on European vintage cars. One of the most noteworthy exhibits is the collection of Rolls-Royces sold between 1900 and 1950. You can also see a special edition Rolls-Royce Phantom II from 1929, of which only three exist in the world.

Exhibition Hall 4 is a zone that will delight Japanese classic car enthusiasts, with displays of cars that defined the era, such as the legendary Toyota 2000GT, a legendary car of which only 337 units were produced between 1967 and 1970, and the Isuzu Bellett.

GLION MUSEUM also has restaurants on its premises, offering a wide variety of dining options, including AKARENGA STEAK HOUSE, the only sister restaurant in Japan of Hy's Steak House, a long-established steakhouse in Hawaii; LA VIE 1923, a restaurant that serves French cuisine with a Japanese twist, including deep-fried skewers; and AKARENGA DINER, which serves original blend coffee and light meals.
