The Izudono Holy Spring bubbled up from the ground beside the main shrine. A beer factory was constructed nearby in 1889, and the same water came to be used to brew beer. In later years, modern plumbing came to the area, and just as the large, water-filled patties disappeared, so did the spring. The Izudonogu Kagurajishi is a lion dance and Suita City regional intangible folk cultural property. It depicts the act of praying for rain and then a child celebrating the rain that has come. The traditional dance has been passed down from generation to generation at the shrine. It's performed five times a year, including at the Suita Matsuri festival.
