Museum of Kamigata Performing Arts (Wahha Kamigata)
The only resource center under the theme of “laughing” in Japan where guests can experience the charm of Kamigata Engei (entertainment) including Manzai and Rakugo.
Entertainers guide the center as navigator in foreign languages. Guests can enjoy display to learn the history of Engei, see “Funny image corner” showing young entertainers, and can actually put on a haori costume for photo shooting. Workshops are held on first and third Saturdays and Sundays every month. Admission free.
