A Bakuro Inari Shrine ritual in which names, addresses, and wishes are written on wooden sticks that are then burned. The spiritual power of the fire purifies those present of sins and impurities they've unconsciously acquired over time, granting wishes and warding off evil.

    After the festival, mochi rice cakes are thrown. This ritual draws a large, lively crowd to the shrine every year.
    Zenzai, a sweet bean dish, is also available for a cost of ¥100.
