Helictite
The twisted, hanging stalactites are called helictites and are academically very rare. Hida Great Cave is unique in that it is the most common site for helictites among Japan's tourist caves.

Taking advantage of the cave's environment, where temperature changes are minimal throughout the year, we store sake, shochu, and other alcoholic beverages.
