Mugi Oshima

Mugi Oshima, an uninhabited island off the coast of Mugi, is known as a mecca for reef fishing, where the culture of reef fishing has been rooted since the days of wooden boats over 100 years ago. The uninhabited island is located about 8km from Mugi Port and is famous as a fishing spot. Its highlights include the strangely eroded rocks, the scenery of the Kuroshio Current, and the underwater park. You can also see a flock of blue herons, a natural monument. Tsushima is also nearby.
