Overflowing with forgotten abundance
[God] Izurumachi
~Plateau of Encounters~

Kamishi Plateau Kagura is a light and lively dance that places emphasis on storytelling, even among the Kagura of Hiroshima Prefecture, and is registered as an intangible folk cultural property of Hiroshima Prefecture.
There are six active groups, both children and adults, but the Children's Kagura group in particular is mainly comprised of elementary and junior high school students, which encourages intergenerational exchange and serves as an opportunity to pass on the traditional culture of the region.
Kagura is a culture that transcends age and allows people of all ages to have fun and enjoy themselves, and it lives on in Jinsekikogen Town.
