Even monkeys can warm up in the hot springs
A town of nature, hot springs and healing

Yudanaka Shibu Onsenkyo, which consists of nine hot spring towns, is said to have been discovered over 1,300 years ago. It is a famous hot spring that has been loved by many writers and artists, including Kobayashi Issa.
Yudanaka Onsen is named "Yokarei," and since "yokarei" means longevity, it is said that bathing in this hot spring will bring you health, beauty, and longevity benefits.
Additionally, Jigokudani Monkey Park is the only place in the world where you can observe monkeys bathing in hot springs, and is a paradise for Japanese macaques living in the wild.
