Three hot springs offering healing

There are three hot springs in Kaga Onsenkyo, one of which is Katayamazu Onsen. View from the lakeside Hakusan mountain range, one of the three most sacred peaks in Japan, is spectacular. The second is Yamashiro Onsen, known as the "hot spring of longevity" and good for the health as a beverage. Matsuo Basho, the most famous Japanese poet of the Edo period, once visited this area, and was very impressed by the hot springs and the natural beauty of the area.
