Fukuyama city is located close to the center of the Chugoku-Shikoku region, and is the second largest city of Hiroshima located in the eastern part of Hiroshima. In addition to the surf and turf delicacies that were nurtured in the warm weather and rich nature, it has a unique history, culture, and industry, packed with numerous sightseeing attractions.
From “Fukuyama Castle” that you can closely see from the Shinkansen station, to the “Tomonura” that flourished as a port since ancient times, and the “Rose” which became the symbol of post-war reconstruction, there are many highlights of Fukuyama that you can not experience anywhere else.

Fukuyama Castle
It is one of Japan's most famous castles with a five-storied keep, Honmaru and Ninomaru that have many towers and castle gates.

It is said that Kukai-jyoninenshrined the shrine as a guardian deity of the Myo-in Temple. It is one of the few ancient shrines in the region.

The 15,000㎡ park is filled with about 5,500 roses. It will be the main venue for the “Fukuyama Rose Festival”

Bingo Ichinomiya Kibitsu Shrine
It is called Ikkyu-san and wildly worshiped as the god of good luck, warding off evil, traffic safety, and longevity.

It is a group of buildings of the "former homei liquor store'' which started brewing "homei liquor" from the beginning of the Edo period .
