Harvest Hill is an agricultural park that is filled with greenery and flowers. It is located on the Senboku Hills in the southern part of Sakai City. An area eight times larger than Koshien Stadium (38,500m2) contains the Grass Square, the field of flowers garden, ponds, a creek with a suspension bridge over it, and other areas, and the route of the 54-seat Harvest Train. Under the theme of "Fresh, safe and delicious," visitors can experience harvesting seasonal vegetables and fruits, making bread, sausages and other food by hand and craft activities like making ceramics and decorating them. In the petting zoo, visitors can play with animals, including rabbits, striped squirrels and small pigs, and experience milking a cow and riding a horse. A dynamic demonstration by working sheep-dogs and their handler, and sliding down the grass ski slope, which is one of the largest in the Kansai region, are both enjoyable. Visitors can also buy fresh vegetables delivered by neighboring farmers at the direct sales store and handmade products made in the Meister Workshop and fresh-baked bread at the Handmade House. Restaurants and a barbeque site are also available in the park.
