Bridge that has been built from the upstream of the former Itachibori river in the fourth. There is a monument now.
Bridge that has been built from the upstream of the former Itachibori river in the fourth in Meiji 9 years(1876). Bridge name is derived from the fact, which was completed in Meiji era. That was rebuilt to steel sheet girder bridge, bronze floodlight was standing up as lantern shape on granite's newel. In a parapet, marks in a water channel arrange warabimon design, unusual design has been given of those days. The bridge disappeared when fill in the Itachibori in Showa 31 years(1596). After that, the name "Meiji" has been inherited by local as the name of regional town council union and elementary school. Now, monument is standing at track of the bridge.
