Mizuno Sportology Gallery

Introduces various sporting goods of different times, ranging from the Meiji Era to the future, including gloves and bats used by Ichiro and Matsui.

A gallery for sports products on the first and third floors of the head office building of Mizuno located in Osaka Nanko. On display are official Olympic posters from the Meiji Era to present, history of Mizuno for the last century, history of sports and Olympics, and numerous sporting goods made by the top manufacturer that has supported the Japanese sport industry since its establishment in the 39th year of the Meiji Era (1906) including baseball uniforms of the late Taisho Period and cowhide gloves of the early Showa Period. Of them, gloves and bats used by world-famous stars Ichiro and Matsui as well as shoes that created phenomenal players are a must-see. On the other hand, the section envisioning the sports scene in the near future exhibits proto-models of future baseball bats, gloves, spikes, etc., allowing visitors to dream of fantastic game scenes and incredible records. Goods for other sports such as skiing and tennis are also displayed. Free admission.
