Nagano Onsen

Verdant "hidden spring in Osaka," just 30 minutes from Osaka City.

Nagano Onsen (hot spring) is a natural hot spring at the Kawachinaganoso inn, located an 8 minute walk from Kintetsu Nagano Line Kawachinagano Station. This hot spring is said to have been in use since ancient times, dating back to the reign of Empress Suiko (592-628). At Kawachinaganoso, guests can indulge in a large hot spring bath, sauna, and open-air bath, spending a relaxing time in green surroundings. About half of the tourists who visit Kawachinagano visit this spa as a "hidden spring in Osaka." Nagano Onsen is a sodium/magnesium chloride spring, believed to be effective for nerve pain, muscle pain, and joint pain. In addition to an overnight-stay plan, the inn provides a day-trip plan combining lunch and spa-bath. In the vicinity are renowned temples, such as Kanshinji, Enmeiji, and Amanosan-Kongoji, and other sightseeing spots, including Osaka Prefectural Flower Garden and the Kansai Cycle Sports Center.
