Suigetsu Park 0

This park is abundant with greenery and water.

Located almost exactly halfway between Ishibashi and Ikeda Stations on the Hankyu Takarazuka Line, this park is famous for its flowers and becomes a lively locale from early spring into early summer when the plum trees blossom and Japanese irises bloom. The park’s blossoming plums were planted long ago, and come March they bloom in a beautiful profusion of white and red. Early June is when the Japanese irises begin, creating a stirring and picturesque sight. The park also has a pavilion called Seiho-tei, which was gifted as a symbol of friendship by Ikeda’s sister city Suzhou in Jiangsu Province, China.
