[Held on August 23rd (Sun)] Summer Lantern Dream Festival 2026 – Pikatto Higashi Osaka

This light-up event blends traditional culture with the craftsmanship of Higashi-Osaka, adorned with a variety of lights. There are also plenty of other attractions, including food stalls, festival games, and workshops.

① Light-up of glowing Japanese umbrellas: Experience the charm of traditional Japanese umbrellas. This year, they will also be set up in front of the main shrine.

② The gentle sound of wind chimes swaying amidst the light creates a magical atmosphere in the tranquil setting of the shrine. We also encourage you to participate in the "Wind Chime Prayer Wish Strips," where you can write your wishes along with the sound of the wind chimes. (1,000 yen per strip)

③ Wire art exhibition enveloped in fantastical light. We offer a special moment woven from delicate wire and light. Works by wire artist Kagenui will be on display, as well as an installation that will adorn the entire space.
