HEP FIVE is a multi-purpose commercial complex located in the heart of Osaka's Umeda district. Perched atop the complex, its iconic symbol is a 75-meter-diameter, bright red Ferris wheel. The boarding area is on the 7th floor, and the gondolas ascend 106 meters above ground, passing over the rooftop. From there, you can enjoy panoramic views of downtown Osaka, and on clear days, even the Akashi Strait. The 52 four-seater gondolas play music and are equipped with air conditioning and heating. A full rotation takes approximately 15 minutes. At night, the gondolas are illuminated by computer-controlled floodlights.
