Ashizuri drive
The road from Shimizu Fishing Port to Cape Ashizuri, the southernmost tip of Shikoku, is a route where you can visit various scenic spots that meet the seascape. Along the coastal route, there are ancient mystery power spots such as Ryugu Shrine where the torii stands on the seaside and also the Tojin Daba ruins where you can explore the huge, ancient stones. So take your time driving and enjoy these scenic vistas.
Cape Ashizuri Lighthouse
A chalk-white lighthouse that stands on the cliff of Cape Ashizuri. Measuring 18m in height, it ranks as one of the largest in Japan and has been watching over the safety of ships since it was lit in 1914. If you walk along the promenade, you can get closer to the side of the lighthouse. From the observatory, which is a short distance away, you can enjoy a panoramic view of 270 degrees including the lighthouse. Realize that the earth is round on the horizon looking away!

Restaurant Ashizuri
A set meal restaurant with a store near the Shimizu fishing port. This shop is visited by many people for Shimizu mackerel, the popular Tosashimizu fish. Shimizu mackerel, caught one-by-one by a unique fishing method called longline fishing, is very fresh. Enjoy a rich Shimizu mackerel menu, such as sashimi seasoned with sesame oil and salt, and salted tataki that is lightly roasted on the surface. The grilled mackerel sushi is also highly recommended.

Kashiwajima
Kashiwajima, located on the southwestern tip of Shikoku, is one of the best diving spots in Japan and home to over 1,000 types of sea creatures.On the ``Unexplored Area of the Sea Kashiwajima Cruise'' guided by Marine Dream Kashiwajima, you can see table coral and colorful underwater life through the bottom glass of a glass boat.Enjoy the exotic scenery of the clear blue sea and the rock walls made of white granite.
