[Event October] Five Gazes _ Capacious Exhibition #21

1.What is the Capacious Exhibition?
capacious is a project that introduces works by artists with disabilities in Osaka Prefecture to the contemporary art market. The word capacious literally means large-capacity or inclusive, and is inspired by the image of a large, open-ended bag.
We pursue the possibilities of expanding by simply appreciating the artworks, removing the established frameworks of contemporary art history and language. We aim to connect artists and their associates (facility staff, families, etc.) with art professionals and art fans, and expand the scope of our activities, with the aim of making the artworks available to a wide range of people in our collections.
2. Highlights of the Capacious Exhibition!
Kyoko Arita creates colorful paintings with detailed pointillism.
Chazono Daiki's dynamic portrayal of fashion show runways.
Ryuhei Shibata understands the world through numbers and writes them down.
Hirano Yoshiyasu depicts an abundance of information on the screen using his unique typography.
Maeda Yasuhiro paints landscapes that appear to have been photodecomposed.
Five people who depict the world around them in their own way.
We will be introducing some fascinating works. Please take a look.
