1. What is "Little Children's Artist - Picture Books Included"?

Before viewing the artworks together in the collection exhibition, we will start by enjoying a picture book that will act as a gateway to appreciating the artworks. The picture books have been carefully selected by the "Art and Picture Book Study Group" and the museum staff. The picture books and the artworks will resonate with each other, and you will find many surprises and discoveries that you cannot experience by simply reading the picture books or looking at the artworks. It's the perfect way to make your museum debut!
Children's sign language words In the "Komekko" navigator session, which develops the ability to read, children who are deaf or hard of hearing can enjoy reading picture books in sign language together. Hearing children are also welcome.

Let's have fun together discovering what the museum is like.
We will start with a picture book reading and then prepare you for how to encounter the artwork before moving around the exhibition room, so please feel free to join us.
