Tempozan Ferris Wheel

The Tempozan Giant Ferris Wheel is one of the largest Ferris wheels in the world, with a diameter of 100m. You can enjoy a 15-minute flight around the wheel, offering a panoramic view of the city of Osaka and Osaka Bay. The night illuminations are as beautiful as fireworks. There are a total of 60 gondolas, each with different functions depending on the type. Three are "barrier-free" gondolas that allow wheelchair users to board directly. Eight are "see-through" gondolas with transparent floors.

There are three wheelchair-accessible gondolas that rotate once every eight minutes. The entrance is 82cm wide, so wheelchair users can board in their wheelchairs. Staff will set up a ramp (approximately 10 degrees) to provide assistance when getting on and off.

The see-through gondola, which offers a 360-degree view of Osaka, has a narrow entrance, so special wheelchairs are available. Anyone who can transfer into a wheelchair by themselves can board the gondola.

There are also baby chairs available in some of the women's and men's restrooms.

Nursing room

There is a nursing room on the 2nd floor of Tempozan Market Place. It is for women only. There is one diaper changing table and two private nursing rooms. There is also a sink. There is no hot water heater in the room, but some restaurants provide hot water.

prayer room

There are separate prayer rooms for men and women on the 3rd floor of Tempozan Marketplace. The prayer rooms are equipped with a bathing area before prayer and air conditioning. To use the rooms, you will need to receive an unlock code at the Kaiyukan Information Center (2nd floor of the Kaiyukan Entrance Building).
