Facility information

Captain Line

This shuttle boat connects the "Kaiyukan West Wharf" and "Universal City Port" in about 10 minutes one way. The operating schedule varies depending on the month. Also, due to weather and sea conditions, the boat may be suspended for safety reasons.
Please check the Captain Line official website for the latest flight schedule.
If multiple wheelchair users will be on board, please contact us by phone in advance.

Payment method: Cash. By presenting a disability certificate or other proof of disability at the ticket counter, you and up to one caregiver will receive a 50% discount on the boarding fare.

Passages and routes

Kaiyukan West Pier Ticket Office

Please purchase your ticket at least 5 minutes before boarding. The height of the ticket counter is 124cm.

Kaiyukan West Wing Waiting Area

There is a 6 degree slope to the entrance, which is a sliding door. There are chairs with backrests in the waiting area.

Kaiyukan West Pier Boarding Point

There is a ramp to board the ship, which is approximately 12 degrees and 85cm wide.
*The slope may vary slightly depending on the tide.

Universal City Port Ticket Office and Waiting Room

There is a ticket booth inside the waiting area. There is a 5 degree slope up to the entrance of the waiting area. The height of the ticket booth counter is 97cm. There are chairs with backrests and benches in the waiting area.

Universal City Port platform

There is a ramp to board the ship, which is approximately 12 degrees and 85cm wide.

Onboard information

Onboard lobby

The lobby on board offers a view of the Osaka Bay area. Multiple wheelchair users can also wait. The open deck can only be accessed by stairs.

Seats on board

There are two small wheelchair/stroller spaces on board, each approximately 50cm wide.
