Tower of the Sun

The Tower of the Sun was designed by artist Taro Okamoto and erected as a theme pavilion in the symbol zone of the Osaka Expo, held in 1970. After the Osaka Expo ended, the interior was closed to the public in principle, but has since been restored and reopened to the public in 2018.
