1. What is "Welcoming Abeno-Tennoji Osaka Festival ~ Road to EXPO 2025 ~"?

Osaka Prefecture and the Welcoming Abeno Tennoji Campaign Office (Kintetsu Real Estate Co., Ltd., Tokyu Land Corporation, West Japan Railway Company) will hold the "Welcoming Abeno Tennoji Osakamon Festival Road to EXPO 2025," an event where you can enjoy environmentally friendly products made in Osaka, as follows:

This event will bring you the opportunity to "eat," "buy," and "experience" fresh Osaka produce and carefully selected Osaka-made specialties.
With an eye on the Osaka-Kansai Expo, we will promote "Osaka AGreen Action," which aims to create a decarbonized society through actions that can be taken immediately in the fields of "food" and the "agriculture and greenery" that support it, through Osaka products, and will work to achieve carbon neutrality*1 and the Osaka Blue Ocean Vision*2.

*1 Achieving a balance between the amount of greenhouse gases emitted, including carbon dioxide, and the amount absorbed through afforestation and forest management.
*2 Aiming to eliminate new marine plastic pollution by 2050.

 

2. Highlights of the "Welcoming Abeno-Tennoji Osaka Festival -Road to EXPO 2025"!

The Osakamon Festival is an event where you can enjoy seasonal Osaka products, including the sale of Osaka-made products and famous Osaka-made products, and food and drink.
On stage, Mukku, the well-known "Gachapin and Mukku" will appear to hold a talk event on the theme of "Osaka-Kansai Expo and SDGs," as well as unveiling newly certified Osaka-made fine products and promoting Senshu chrysanthemums.
There will also be gift giveaways for visitors and free water refill stations, so please bring your own bag and bottle and come visit!

Admission is free. The event will be held rain or shine (cancelled in severe weather).
