A participatory event that combines culture, art, and sports
The "2025 Unlimited Sports Festival" will be held on Thursday, July 24, 2025.

 

The main venue will be the EXPO Arena "Matsuri" (Konohana Ward) at the EXPO 2025 Osaka-Kansai Expo.
At the same time, a related event will be held at Yanmar Stadium Nagai (Sumiyoshi Ward), making the event held at two venues simultaneously.

 

■What is the Unlimited Sports Festival?

This event began in 2017 as the world's first attempt to allow athletes with and without disabilities to compete on the same field and under the same rules.

In 2023, the "Para" name will be dropped and the festival will be relaunched as the "Unlimited Sports Festival," which will include not only track and field events but also a wide variety of other events and experiences. Aiming to create a space where everyone can interact on an equal footing, the festival is expanding every year in collaboration with companies, local governments, and community organizations.

 

The 6th "2025 Unlimited Sports Festival" will be held under the theme of "Culture, Arts and Sports."

 

Mako Shibuya, a wheelchair-using YouTuber, has been appointed as the "Unlimited Ambassador."

There will be a wide variety of events, including e-sports tournaments, booths and events featuring famous sports teams, and a one-day music outreach workshop featuring a professional cast from the United States.
