Takihata Falls

Takihata, located in the mountains of Kawachinagano City near the border with Wakayama Prefecture and at the trailhead for Mt. Iwawaki and Mt. Makio, is a scenic spot where water springing from the Kii Mountains flows down one after another as numerous waterfalls, including Otaki, Gokotaki, Gongentaki, Wakagotaki, and Arataki. It is also popular as an easy hiking course, and many people enjoy the outdoors by the river.
