Amidaike Daikoku: Awaokoshi and Iwaokoshi

Awaokoshi is the sweet with the longest history. It has been loved by the discerning people of Osaka ever since its establishment.
This long-established store was founded in Bunka 2 (1805). It has been 200 years since they started making "Okoshi" at Amida Pond on the banks of the Nagahori River, where storehouses line the river. "Okoshi" has long been popular as an auspicious sweet that will help you get started, your family, and the country. They aim to create new sweets by using traditional techniques in a modern way, while focusing on natural ingredients.
