Located in the heart of Osaka's Minami district, it's home to everything from famous, long-established stores that have been around since the Genroku period to cutting-edge fashion shops. Bustling with people day and night, it's a lively street that's fun just to walk along. It's said that the origins of today's shopping street date back to the Edo period, when udon shops, teahouses and other eateries were opened for worshippers heading to Imamiya Ebisu along Ebisubashi-suji.
