Kyu-Sakuranomiya Kokaido Hall
Reopened in April 2013 after interior renovations, this hall is Osaka's oldest example of Western-style architecture and is registered as an Important Cultural Property.
Completed in 1933 during dismantling/rebuilding of the front entrance of the old Japanese Mint Bureau, this hall reopened in April 2013 after interior renovations. Part of Osaka's oldest example of Western-style architecture, it is registered as an Important Cultural Property. Additionally, the hall is used as the Meiji Emperor Memorial Hall and features a number of strong boxes from the time on display at the entrance. Banquet seating is 120, and a standing buffet allows upwards of 200 guests.The facilities are equipped with audio equipment and a large projector and projection monitor. Furthermore, the hall offers a course of French cuisine made with local Osakan ingredients.
