Former Sakuranomiya Public Hall


The interior of Osaka's oldest building, which has been designated an Important Cultural Property, was renovated and opened in April 2013.
Completed in 1933, the building was constructed by relocating the main entrance of the former Mint Dormitory and is the oldest building in Osaka, designated an Important Cultural Property. The interior has been renovated and opened in April 2013. It is also used as the Emperor Meiji Memorial Hall, and the original safe is on display at the entrance. The banquet hall can accommodate 120 seated guests and 250 standing. It is fully equipped with sound equipment, a large projector and monitors. They serve French courses using local Osaka ingredients.
