Handing downt the wisdom of Doshomachi, the district where Japan's pharmaceutical industry has evolved, and introducing the history of Mitsubishi Tanabe Pharma spanning over 330years.The company's history began in 1678 when Tanabeya Gohei the 1st launched a business producing and selling Tanabeya Infusing Medicine, and opened a store at the south end of Tanabeya bridge (now Joanbashi) in Tosabori, Osaka. For over 300 years since then, they have been contributing to the healthier lives of people around the world through the creation of pharmaceuticals.Mitsubishi Tanabe Pharma Historical Museum collects information about the corporate activities of providing pharmaceuticals to benefit communities together along with historically valuable materials revealing the frontier spirit by which they have overcome many hardships. While carrying forward this precious history and spirit, they engage in corporate activities with a sense of mission and high ethical standards as we strive to contribute to communities.
