Oiseki Park

The clear streams and greenery of Roji Valley, one of the "100 Best Greens in Osaka," and the beautiful cherry blossoms in spring make this a natural park well-known to local residents.

Adjacent to Hineno's Hineno Shrine, this park is rich in natural beauty and stretches across the Roji Valley, which runs through the middle reaches of the Kashii River, which flows east to west through Izumisano City. In spring, Somei-Yoshino cherry trees bloom here, making it a famous cherry blossom viewing spot in Izumisano City. The Cherry Blossom Festival, held annually on the first Saturday of April by the Izumisano City Tourism Association, is a popular event that draws many visitors. Roji Valley, where you can enjoy the clear stream at the bottom of the valley and the impressive, unusually shaped rocks, has been selected as one of Osaka's 100 Green Landscapes, and the view from the arched bridge within the park is particularly spectacular. Many people visit in the summer to cool off. A walking path has been constructed on the embankment near the park, making it a popular spot among locals. It's easily accessible by bus from Nankai Izumisano Station or JR Hineno Station and getting off at the Tojo stop.
