An authentic samurai and ninja experience at Miraiza Osaka-Jo! “Tate” is the staged sword fight action used in stage plays and movies. Easy to understand instruction given on how to perform sword and body movements based on samurai culture in Japan. Two experience courses: quick course (20 minutes) and regular course (60 minutes). If you have time, the regular course is recommended. Visitors can actually change into samurai outfit and learn authentic sword forms such as “seigan” and “hasso”. You can also make up a pair to act out a sword match. Sound effects are added for movements to enhance the feeling of being a hero/heroine in a movie. The staff will shoot a video on your smartphone for a souvenir of your Osaka Castle visit. A ninja experience for children is also available.
