Creative Japanese confectionery workshop Bashoan Tempozan store

Once you try Bashodo's Warabimochi, you'll never forget it. Its soft, chewy texture fills your mouth.
Bashoan, famous for its warabimochi (bracken mochi), has a shop in Naniwa Kuishinbo Yokocho in the Osaka Bay Area. This gourmet theme park recreates the streets of Osaka around 1965, and is lined with famous and long-established Osaka restaurants. Made using only carefully selected ingredients, the shop's unique flavor will make you say, "I've never tasted warabimochi like this before." The popular "stone mill experience" allows you to grind the finest Tamba black beans in a stone mill and sprinkle them on your own warabimochi. The aroma of black bean kinako that fills the shop and the soft, chewy texture of the warabimochi are loved by people of all ages.
