Located just a short walk from Tsurumi Ryokuchi Station on the Nagahori Tsurumi-ryokuchi Subway Line, this urban park was redeveloped on the site of the former EXPO '90 International Garden and Greenery Exposition. The approximately 123-hectare site features a large pond in the center where migratory birds can rest, and features the Sakuyakonohanakan greenhouse displaying 2,600 species and approximately 15,000 plants, as well as the Japanese garden, the International Garden, and Hanamizuki Hall (Tsurumi Sports Center). New facilities have also been added, including a riding park, ball and sports fields, a heated swimming pool, recreational facilities such as a barbecue area and campground, and facilities for learning about environmental issues, such as a nature observation garden. Admission is free, with the exception of some paid facilities. Enjoy seasonal flowers and plants throughout the year, and there are also events held.
