About a 5-minute walk from Osaka Port Station on the Osaka Metro Chuo Line. Standing right next to the Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan, this Ferris wheel is 112.5 meters tall and 100 meters in diameter, making it one of the world’s largest. The ride takes about 15 minutes and offers a spectacular aerial journey—on a clear day, you can enjoy panoramic views of the Ikoma Mountain Range to the east, the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge to the west, Kansai International Airport to the south, and the Rokko Mountain Range to the north.Of the 60 cabins, three are wheelchair-accessible, allowing passengers to board directly with their wheelchairs. During the ride, commentary in Japanese and English is broadcast inside the cabins. The light show that displays the next day’s weather forecast using colorful LED lights is also popular. The lights that colorfully illuminate Osaka Port have now become one of Osaka’s signature nighttime attractions.
