In October 2003, Parks—a massive mixed-use complex—opened on the site of the former Osaka Stadium. In April 2007, T-terrace was added, further enhancing the existing shopping and dining areas and expanding the range of options for activity studios. It has also become a must-see destination in Minami, featuring one of Osaka’s largest cinema complexes, as well as shops and restaurants making their Kansai debut. In addition, the rooftop garden, Parks Garden—featuring a meandering stream—has been expanded to include approximately 100,000 plants representing some 500 species. As an urban oasis, it will continue to delight visitors’ eyes for years to come.
