[Sunday, August 23] Summer Lights Dream Festival 2026 - Pika-to Higashiosaka

A light-up event that blends traditional culture with Higashiosaka’s craftsmanship, illuminated by a variety of lights. There’s plenty more to enjoy, including a food and festival area, as well as workshops.

① “Umbrella Fireflies” (Glowing Japanese Umbrellas) Light-Up Experience the charm of traditional Japanese umbrellas. This year, they will also be displayed in front of the main hall.

② Sound and Light: The gentle chime of wind chimes swaying in the light gently echoes through the shrine’s tranquility, creating a magical atmosphere. Be sure to participate in the “Wind Chime Prayer Strips” activity, where you can write your wishes on strips of paper and hang them on the wind chimes.(1,000 yen per strip)

③ Wire Art Exhibition Bathed in Enchanting Light: We invite you to experience a special moment woven from delicate wire and light. The event features an exhibition of works by wire artist Kage-nui, as well as installations that illuminate the entire space.
