In 1991, the Osaka International Peace Center “Peace Osaka” opened in a corner of Osaka Castle Park.It reopened in April 2015 as a peace museum dedicated to preserving the history of the Osaka air raids. The museum commemorates the victims of the Osaka air raids and prays for peace, while also exhibiting materials related to the wartime experiences of the people of Osaka, with a focus on the air raids.It also features a library and a video corner, where visitors can borrow books on war and world peace, as well as panels, picture-story shows, and videos for peace education. Additionally, the auditorium, which seats 160 people, hosts screenings of anime and movies, as well as lectures and concerts.
