Minoh Otaki

Located in Meiji no Mori Minoh Quasi-National Park, Minoh Otaki is known as “one of the finest waterfalls in the land.” Selected as one of the “100 Best Waterfalls in Japan,” this massive waterfall has a drop of 33 meters. Standing before it, you’ll lose track of time as you watch the dynamic flow of water that seems to pour down from the sky.The area surrounding this waterfall—said to have once been visited by Oda Nobunaga and Matsuo Basho—features a bowl-shaped terrain that traps negative ions, making it the perfect cool spot!
You can enjoy it throughout the four seasons: summer, of course, but also spring with its fresh greenery, fall with its vibrant foliage, and winter with its snow-covered landscape.
