Kotohira Shrine
Kotohira Shrine is located on Mount Zozu in Kotohira Town, Nakatado District, Kagawa Prefecture, and is deeply revered as the god who protects the sea. He is also said to be the god of bountiful harvests, prosperous business, medicine, and the arts, and many worshippers visit the shrine. Once you pass through the Daimon gate on the 365th step, you will come to a place called Sakurababa, where in the cherry blossom season the long, stretching cherry blossom tunnel spreads out before you, making it a truly spectacular sight.
