Officially opened in the spring of 1991, the main building is Japan's only museum dedicated to the Yayoi period.
After this, I continued to research and excavate books all over the country, greatly expanded the related materials; added research from various angles, and since I was able to use the ``real chronology'', I have made a series of interpretations of traditional Yayoi culture, and the progress of demand has been significantly revised.
The main exhibition is based on the above-mentioned situation, the first exhibition room of the main building (currently temporarily open) has an exhibition structure that combines the exhibits and newly excavated materials, and the new exploration of Yayoi culture and its significance.
