Osaka Castle

1. Osaka Castle Museum

A new attraction at Osaka's symbol!

It was built as a museum in 1931 on Honmaru, which was then an army site. Built entirely with donations from the citizens of Osaka, it is a beloved symbol of Osaka, with eight floors and a height of 54.8m. On April 1, 2025, the Osaka Castle Toyotomi Stone Wall Museum will open, showcasing stone walls from the time of Toyotomi Hideyoshi. It is a new attraction worth checking out.

The view of Osaka from the river is refreshing

The Aqualiner is a means of transportation that travels across the waters of Osaka, the city of water. This water transportation method, which was the mainstream in Osaka before land transportation became widespread, has been revived in the present day. It is an enjoyable means of transportation that also combines entertainment with the ability to view the Osaka scenery from the water.

3 Nakanoshima Park

An urban park dating back to the Meiji era

Located between the Dojima River and the Tosabori River, this park has been popular with locals since the Meiji era. In mid-May and mid-October, the park is covered in roses of approximately 3,700 varieties. There is no shortage of lunch spots nearby, including Nakanoshima Banks and Kitahama Terrace, both of which feature terraces along the river.

The charm of game creation all in one place

This new museum opened in 2022. Its collection focuses on fine art from the late 19th century to the present, and includes over 6,000 pieces by artists with ties to Osaka. From March 20 to June 22, 2025, it will host the "Capcom Exhibition: Captivating Game Creations Around the World." This will be Capcom's first comprehensive exhibition, showcasing everything from the company's origins to its latest technology.

5Namba Grand Kagetsu

A hall of fame for comedy and a hub for comedy culture

It has 858 seats, making it the largest comedy theater in Japan. You can enjoy live comedy by Yoshimoto comedians, from veterans to young talents. There is also a full selection of official goods and souvenir shops, as well as restaurants. Performance times vary between weekdays, Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, so please check the official website.
