全国有数の国宝集積地帯である南河内には、国宝の観音様をご本尊とする3カ寺、葛井寺・道明寺・観心寺がある。令和7年は、例年の4月18日に加え前日17日にも3カ寺ともご本尊※がご開扉されることになり、これを機に「大阪国宝三観音めぐり」を創設。3カ寺を巡る中で南河内に存在する豊かな歴史と文化を体感してもらう。 ※道明寺のみ本年に限りご本尊の国宝十一面観音像の大阪市立美術館出陳に伴い旧国宝で現重要文化財の十一面観音像となる。
