1Tondabayashi Jinanimachi

Open the door to time travel in Tondabayashi

Tondabayashi Jinaimachi is the only Jinanimachi in the prefecture designated as an Important Preservation District for Groups of Traditional Buildings. The area, which retains its streetscape unchanged since the Edo period, including the former Sugiyama family residence, which conveys the high level of architectural technology of the time, is perfect for a historical stroll. New movements are also emerging, such as a craft beer brewery renovated from an old building.

Japanese wine brewing has continued since the early Showa period

This winery has been in business since the early Showa period, using grapes grown in Osaka to create "Japanese drinks" that go well with Japanese cuisine. Tours of the vineyards and factory, which are cultivated on gentle hills, and seminars are also available. Various plans are also available, where you can enjoy tastings of wine and plum wine while listening to explanations from a sommelier.
