See Kishiwada's two major symbols in one go!

According to legend, Kishiwada Castle was built during the Kenmu Restoration. During the Sengoku period, the castle was renovated by Koide Hidemasa, the uncle of Hashiba Hideyoshi. From the castle tower, you can get a panoramic view of Kishiwada city and Osaka Bay. At the Danjiri Hall, you can see the impressive danjiri floats, as well as displays of musical instruments, decorations, and miniature danjiri floats.

2. Izumisano Fisheries Cooperative Open-Air Market

Experience the abundance of seafood in Osaka Bay

Senshu is a fishing town that boasts the largest catch in Osaka Prefecture. At the market, which is directly connected to the fishery cooperative, auctions begin at 2pm on fishing days, and the fresh seafood sold there is quickly put on display in the stores. There are also restaurants and sushi restaurants where you can enjoy BBQs using ingredients purchased at the fishmonger, so you can also enjoy seasonal fish.
