Saikoji Temple
Built by En no Gyoja, this temple is said to be the first in Japan to feature Daisho Kankiten, an incarnation of Dainichi Nyorai. The temple is also home to Daikokuten, the god of fortune, and is visited by many people throughout the year.
Basic information
In the 4th year of the reign of Emperor Saimei (658), En no Gyoja established the temple as a place for Buddhist training, and it is known for its Daisho Kankiten and insect memorial services.
It is a famous temple. It is the first sacred place in Japan, where Daikangiten and the Eleven-Headed Kannon Bodhisattva are enshrined. Buying a temple brings good fortune.

It is also known as a famous spot for camellias from around May.

Senjiji and the Shimootowa district were once the territory of Takayama Ukon, a famous Christian feudal lord. Even after Christianity was banned by the shogunate, believers continued to preserve the relics. This only came to light during the Taisho era. Numerous Christian relics were discovered in this area, attracting worldwide attention. Sojiji Temple
HokusetsuThis is a Koyasan Shingon sect temple whose principal image is a hidden statue of the Thousand-Armed Kannon Bodhisattva riding on a turtle's back. Every year between April 15th and 21st, the temple holds an opening ceremony for the hidden statue. The temple's founder, Fujiwara Sankage, is celebrated as the founder of Japanese cuisine due to the tradition of Sennichi-ryori cuisine, and every year on April 18th, a Yamakage-style knife ceremony is held.

Ama site park
HokusetsuAma site park is a large park the size of five Koshien Stadiums, located close to both JR Takatsuki Station and Hankyu Takatsuki-shi Station. Various events are held here throughout the year, and the park is visited by approximately 1.5 million people annually.

Imashiro Daio no Mori (Imashirozuka Tomb, Imashirozuka Ancient History Museum)
HokusetsuImashiro Daio no Mori is a public park that combines Imashirozuka Kofun Park and the Imashirozuka Ancient History Museum. Its symbol, Imashirozuka Kofun, is one of the largest keyhole-shaped tumuli in the Yodo River basin, with the mound alone measuring 181m in length, and including the surrounding double moat, boasting a total length of approximately 350m and a total width of approximately 340m. This tumulus is said to be the tomb of Emperor Keitai (the great-grandfather of Prince Shotoku), built in the first half of the 6th century.
