Kawachinagano City Forestry Center Kinkonkan

Kawachi Manufacturing

Kawachinagano City has an area of 10,963 hectares, of which approximately 70%, or 7,311 hectares, is forest. This forest has long been known as the "Kawachi Forestry Region." Many cedar and cypress plantations, branded as "Osaka Kawachi Wood," are located here, providing a place for environmental conservation and relaxation as a valuable "forest resource." Based on this background, Kinekan was established as a base for learning and interaction, with the aim of organizing foresters and providing instruction aimed at improving their skills, as well as offering woodworking craft experiences and events themed around forests and nature, based on the protection and cultivation of local forest resources and the revitalization of forestry.
