Kishiwada Castle Festival
Festivals held during cherry blossom season
On Saturdays and Sundays during the Castle Festival, there will be an exhibition of Senshu products, food trucks, and stage events.
Basic information
Kishiwada City will hold the Castle Festival to coincide with the cherry blossoms at the castle. In addition to an exhibition of Senshu products and food trucks at Ninomaru Park, there will also be workshops and stage events. Inside Kishiwada Castle, there will also be a Seigaiha experience, outdoor tea ceremony, and traditional Japanese music performances.
■ Main contents (planned)
・On weekends during the festival, there will be a Senshu product exhibition and food trucks (10:00-16:00 on both days). You can purchase the flavors of Senshu, local specialties, industrial products, etc.
・Stage events by students and local groups will be held (11:00-15:00 on both days).
・Outdoor tea ceremony inside the castle: Enjoy tea with Japanese sweets loved by the lord of Kishiwada Domain while looking out at the castle.
First Saturday: Seigaiha Experience (10:00-12:00/13:00-15:00)
First Sunday: Outdoor tea ceremony and Japanese music performance (10:00-14:00)
-The Community Center will also hold a demonstration of popped rice made with rice grown in Kishiwada.

Special exhibition of two national treasures at the Kuboso Memorial Museum of Art, Izumi City
QuanzhouA celadon phoenix-eared vase with the inscription "Mansei" will be on special display. It is believed to have been fired at the Longquan kiln in Zhejiang Province during the Southern Song dynasty and imported, and the "Kasen Utaawase" (Poetry Contest), a record of thirty works selected by Fujiwara no Kinto, is also on display.
