This Izumi City art museum opened in 1982. Its collection includes approximately 13,000 pieces of Japanese and Chinese paintings, calligraphy, and crafts, with a focus on Oriental art, including two national treasures and 29 important cultural properties, as well as modern Western art such as Claude Monet's "Water Lilies" and Pierre-Auguste Renoir's "Maison de la Poste in Cagnes."
