A historic temple famous as a "temple of winning luck"
This famous Japanese temple is bustling with visitors from over 70 countries on average each day. The numerous Victory Daruma dolls that have been donated are a spectacular sight.
Basic information
Known as the "Temple of Luck" and the "Temple of the Winning Daruma," this is one of the most historic temples in the Kansai region, filled with many worshippers from all over the world praying for good fortune. The approximately 26,000m2 temple grounds are famous for the abundance of seasonal flowers, including cherry blossoms, rhododendrons, and hydrangeas. The autumn foliage is particularly spectacular. Many people visit the temple as a power spot that brings good fortune. The grounds are packed with "winning daruma" dolls, dolls whose wishes have come true. This is the 23rd temple of the 33 temples of the Saigoku Kannon Pilgrimage.
